I am committed and my "One Little Word" for 2011 is definitely feeling VERY comfortable! "Change"...is a good fit and so far, despite a migraine on Friday, I am holding fast to making the changes to stay commited and move forward! If you haven't selected your word for 2011...check out Ali Edward's advice here and I'm sure you'll be inspired! I've followed along for a few years, but this year seems to be special...not sure why yet but...we'll just have to wait and see what's in store.
Today was "catch up after migraine day" and I HAD to craft a bit too, so in between changing laundry, prepping for the week at Grove's and doing a little cleaning and organizing I worked on and finally finished this kit I showed you last weekend! Yep...it's over a year old and I did modify it from Donna Downey's original design but it is mine and it is DONE! The "hoard" is reduced by ONE!!!!! Started the day today with pieces, did some final placing, quilted each piece, punched holes and placed eyelets and then laced them together with some of my ribbon stash! Felt really good to use that ribbon too! It's hanging for all to see and will be displayed at the store soon! Loved playing with gel medium again and with all the mixture of "things" for this project! I have a new love for Tim Holtz's film ribbon too! Loved it a long time ago and now, well...I think I'll be using it on alot of upcoming projects! No doubt, you'll be seeing it again!!!!
Finished 3 more layouts too but will share them tomorrow. Do have to share this though... it's to good to wait! As I was going through photos today for those layouts, I ran across this ....
and immediately got the chills! YES!!!!....THIS..... is what I want to do...Let my Life Evolve ...through CHANGE!!! Thank you Stacy Julian for sharing this last year at Inspired (be sure to register now if you haven't already!) Finding this lovely little phrase confirmed that my word choice for 2011 truly has a purpose. This phrase definitely hit home with me last May or I would not have photographed this part of the powerpoint Stacy presented (long and grueling as it seemed to be at the time)! Hmmm..."Change" is a good fit!
Hear's to change and a Happy Monday!

I know EXACTLY what you mean!!!! and...we're going back for more this year!

LOL, I thought I was the only one who was so exhausted by the time the speech came that I barely remembered my name! I even CRIED during the speech! LOL, I was a weepy fool that weekend (but again, what an amazing awesome life-CHANGING experience, huh?) Can't wait for this year!
