Oh my! As I sat here trying to come up with a title for this post and all I wanted to say ran through my mind...I realized it is a very special day!
- 1. It is Monday Madness - yay...more completed "Paint" layouts below.
- 2. It is Martin Luther King Day - now there's a man who brought meaning to the word Change!
- 3. It is January 17th and..... I've completed 17, yes count'em 17 scrapbook page layouts!!!!!!!
- 4. I can see a change in attitude!!!!
All of that makes me a happy camper on a really happy, special, magic, "changing" kinda day!!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
So here are some completed "paint" layouts and a it's a new month with a new sketch over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop! Angie Gutshall, former Grove's employee and a former HAHS student of mine, issued a Paint Challenge at Sweet Peach Crop Shop too. This month, the Sweet Peach kit had some of my favorite paint dabbers from Jenni Bowlin...Jenni is such a creative soul and her paints are no different...colors are wonderful and go hand in hand with her inks! I LOVE using them and the challenge was even more motivation for me to "Use My Stash" of Paint and get to work! So It is a VERY Happy Day here!!! So excited to share some other things later this week but Really excited for Week 2 of Soul Restoration at Brave Girls! Getting to spend some online time with these fabulous ladies is AB-SO-LUTE-LY Awesome! More on those later though! Hope is was a Magic 17 kinda day for you too!!! First, painted paws on a painted background...more on that from yesterday.
Next...remember those painted background from Monday Madness....2 completed layouts....both using the January Sketch from Sweet Peach Crop Shop.
January Sketch looks like this.... One more layout with this sketch...(and they have paint too!!!)
Stay tuned and have a wonderful day and an especially safe day to my fellow Central Pennsylvania friends experiencing snow and slett for the day! Safe travels!

LOL Laurie! That class sounds like so much fun! Dont' think it's fair that we're so far away! Can't wait to hear about it! Remember if there are any portraits involved with the painting...DO NOT paint the NECK!!!! Especially NOT pink! Hugs!

Hi Staci! You are on fire girlfriend! I am loving watching your work everyday! While you were using your stash yesterday, I was out growing mine! I am starting a "Collage on Canvas Mixed Media" class tomorrow for the next 12 weeks. I think I talked about the little art school in our downtown area during Inspired last year. That is where the class is taught. So the class material list is our and they want three basic colors, three secondary colors, black and white fluid acrylics. I have those colors in Golden paint but this was calling for Plaid paint and a lot of it. It was hard to go buy when I had the golden, but I couldn't see using $20 of Golden when I could use $5 of Plaid multiplied by each color. So you were using and I was buying paint. I bet you had more fun! Take care.
