Today's madness is dedicated to ...Felt!!! Specifically...recycled wool sweater felt which is a HUGE part of the hoarded stash I am working to use and eliminate! There is soooo much to do with felt...of ALL kinds...when working on crafting. I am addicted and I'm the first to admit it. I'm certain it has ALOT to do with my Home Economics background and being raised by thrifty and talented women like my Mom and Nan. That said, felt has been a part of my life...hmm...as long as I can remember...say 5 yrs of age or somewhere around there. I'll not bore you with the lovely things I made way back then... as I'm sure you did the same things sooo...we'll just move on!
It all starts here...with loads of wool sweaters...yes, some are mine and I LOVE wool. We need it to keep warm in Pennsylvania. It felts wonderfully toooo!!! It goes from this....
to this.... pieces and pieces of the useable parts of the felted sweaters. and then...with a little work in between...it turns in to these!!!!
