Hope you are all enjoying this holiday and that the weather is cooperating and looking a little like Spring should! We've had our fair share of rain these last few weeks but today had sunshine long enough to hide eggs and have the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Oh what fun this is and it thrills me that my "old" children still enjoy it! They love the clues and messages inside the eggs, the competition and the fun of it! This is the calm before the storm...a nice, friendly pose before "the hunt" begins...
seconds later...they were a little more animated after the "Ready, Set, Go!" Such fun!
Thanks to all of you who emailed during my blog absence. March 2nd we lost a special part of the family which made it difficult to maintain daily activities (like keeping up with the blog) while grieving and handling all the "other" things that accompany the unexpected loss of a family member. You never know just how "full" you life is until something like this happens. That said, we appreciate the emails, calls, cards and prayers and hope to be back in full swing from this point on.
