Monday Madness Part 2 and Thrifted Thursday - a 2 for 1 deal on Wednesday!!! Check it out...I am clearing out my stash as I promised myself and all of you! Using it is becoming habit for now and it's such a good feeling to use those little pieces instead of throwing them away...don't worry though, I have thrown some away! Part 2 is actually a part of "Thrifted Thursday" too ...it's all about using all the "stuff" I've accumulated and completing more projects! So far so good. First up...some new "Swundles"!!! Definition - SWatches of recycled wool felt bundles! Not sure how that came to my head but it did so I'm going with it. Emptied a bag of wool remnants and came up with these

Swundles are "Thrifted" for sure and perfect for the 2nd part of this post..."Thrifted Thursday"! That also came to me out of nowhere and well, I'm going with it too! Not sure if it will be every week or not but...we'll see. I LOVE thrifting...again, it goes back to my mom and grandmother and learning to live with what you have and a little bit of the "home ec." training too. So, when I was unpacking from a weekend trip to Sam's club and preparing to recycle the packaging on these... 
I thought (I know, I thought) hmm...I these are sturdy and I could run them through my BIGKick and get some wonderfully stiff backing! I know it's not original, but the fact that "I" did it is. So here are a few of the diecuts so far...hearts and leaves and fleur de lis!
I am sooo anxious to use them! Have plans for them already and you'll see them soon! I'm with Stephanie and Deena...lovin' my Sizzix again! That's all for now! What have you thrifted today?
